How to start
First you need to do this simple course designed for a complete novice. This is a relaxed course giving you an introduction to fencing. You will learn your basic moves step by step in well structured sessions and an easy to follow syllabus. This course serves as a preparation for the Main Beginner Course where you will learn all you need to join regular club sessions and have a full fencing match.
Cost: £80 (U18 & concessions £40)
Venue: 229 Great Portland Street, W1.
Requirements: All Kit provided. All you need is trainers, a bottle of water and some loose clothing.
Choose a course
There are three types of courses, each giving you four hours of teaching:
1) The standard Course. (next course starts Mon 22 Jun)
This course runs over four weeks. 1 hour per class. It takes place on Mondays from 8 to 9pm. It is for those who like things slow and in small portions.
2) The Weekend course. (next course Sat 11 Jul)
This course runs over two saturdays or two sundays, from 10am to 12pm. This is a semi-fast course of two hours per session.
3) The Intensive course. (next course Mon 20 Jul)
This course runs over four hours in one evening (6:30-10:30pm). This is good for those who like to get to the action fast and move on quickly to the part 2 course.
