This is not a Fencing 4 Fun session. This is the original discipline of modern Olympic Fencing. For more details on Fencing 4 Fun sessions. << click here >>
Olympic Fencing is one of the most exciting modern sports. It is a more effective way to burn calories and keep fit than an aerobics class. It is also a lot more fun and challenging than the gym.
The Olympic sport of fencing is very skillful and helps you develop a range of physical and mental skills. It is very technical, challenging, enjoyable and great for maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular participation. Once you have learned all the required skills you can continue to practise it as a recreational activity or competitively. The choice is then yours. But first you need the patience to learn.
To get started, you simply book onto a Beginner course and move on from there. But if there is anything you are not sure about or what beginner course is best for you then we strongly advise you to book our special introduction to Olympic fencing mini-course first. <<more information>>
