Taster Sessions

This is ideal for those who have never fenced before and have no idea if they want to start fencing or if you want to persuade a friend to start fencing with you.

It is a chance for you to come and have a look. See some exciting competition fencing, speak to some of the Club members and then try it out for yourself.

There is always a short informal drink and some nibbles afterwards for you to get a feel of the Club and meet members, particularly those who started fencing quite recently themselves.

You can ask any further questions you might have and also book for the absolute beginner course on the day.

Booking
All this is only £22. Also, if you book a beginner course on the day we will discount the full £22 taster session fee you have paid from your beginner course fee.

If you book and pay in advance, your place is reserved and you are guaranteed a place. Or you can reserve a place and turn up on the day and pay at the door. Places are not guaranteed and if available they will be given on first come first serve basis.

In order to take part on the day, you need to register your details on our system so that you can be covered by insurance. We highly recommend that you do this in advance << Register now >>. Otherwise you need to allow an extra 30mins on the day for queuing and registration.

At the session
If you have already registered, just turn up in good time to get changed. You will need to wear comfortable clothing, trainers and bring a bottle of water with you. All of the fencing kit will be provided. Avoid a full meal two hours before your session time.
